The Manual Machinist should have a wide range of skills to join this established company.
Working on a range of machines from XYZ Mills to centre lathes and grinders, manufacturing high quality, low volume components from start to finish.
The ideal candidate would have experience in a wide variety of machining and materials. Majority of work is in steels and tool steels. A background in tool room or familiarity of working on low batches would be desirable.
The CNC Programme Setter again would be working primarily on low to medium number high quality runs of parts. Programming, setting and running drawn components effectively and correctly. Ideally time served enginer, with 3 & 4 axis CNC Mills. The right employee can build on their skills and form part of a very busy workforce.
The work is a good mixture of resets and new. Machines are all Fanuc based.
Work overtime Monday to Thursday, when needed, but always finish at 2pm Fridays.
Salary dependent on experience, 39 hour week, 1.5 overtime, 23 days hols + b/hols.
